St. Germain, Wisconsin fishing area covers 100
square miles, located in the heart of Vilas County
in Northern Wisconsin. With over 1300 lakes, streams,
and rivers to choose from, The St. Germain area
is an excellent place to go for your next fishing
adventure. Our area is rich in musky, walleye,
smallmouth and largemouth bass, and our lakes
and rivers do offer some excellent fly-fishing
opportunities for trout.
The
St. Germain group of lakes are mostly clear
water lakes with a diversified fishery. Many of
the lakes are completely surrounded by State or
County land, creating a wilderness setting. St
Germain Wisconsin is bordered on the south by
the American Legion State Forest and to the north
by the Northern Highland State Forest.
